My Bio

nestor1

I was born in a small rural village in the north of Peru where its inhabitants, without any exception, produce coffee as a primary source of income. I probably got familiar with coffee since I was in my mother’s womb; my parents taught my siblings and me to work in the coffee fields since our early years. Despite enjoying helping my family cultivate coffee, I decided to follow the educational path instead. As of today, I have earned a master’s degree in business administration from Clemson University.

I have a strong passion to share the exceptional properties of Peruvian coffee and farmers’ stories around the globe. As a former coffee producer, I have a fair advantage to understand the challenges that farmers face every day. In addition, it gives me the ability to recognize high-quality coffee beans and the areas where they are being produced.
